Research Assistant for Unity VR Development

Experience Design Labs, Northeastern University (Jan 2023 - May 2023)

Designing and developing a Unity VR Simulation with hand tracking for real-time interaction with a virtual robotic workbench. I collaborate with a research team to create a gamified experience for interacting with a mujoco-based robotic environment, providing an immersive industrial work simulation through VR and robotics.

Used immersive technologies like Quests Pro, Varjo VR-3, Pico Neo 4, etc. to develop various VR games and projects. Proficiently utilized various VR SDKs including Oculus, Varjo, and Pico Neo SDKs to ensure seamless compatibility with different VR headsets. Collaborated with designers and engineers to solve challenges related to lighting, rendering, programming, and graphics.

Al Mulla Group (Sept 2020 - Aug 2021)

Led a team of junior engineers overseeing the software development life cycle of 3 Python ML-AI and C++ projects, including a Face Recognition service for user login and Smart Chat-bot service for customer support. Used ReactJS for web design and C++ for back-end developement, bug-fixing and pipelines to improve system performance and data flow.
